Description:

The Department of Behavioral Sciences at Flagler College invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor of Criminology to begin August 2023. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. (or have documented completion date prior to appointment). Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in Criminological Theories and Juvenile Delinquency and the ability to involve undergraduates in research.  Teaching expectations include introductory and upper-level courses as well as a significant contribution to our CORE program. Applicants must also demonstrate sincere interest and ability in scholarship and service to the institution. Preferred applicants will be able to teach the following courses: Criminological Theory, Juvenile Delinquency, Victimology, and CORE classes as needed.

Salary and benefits are commensurate with experience.
