    The Technology Hub Specialist provides a resource for faculty, students, and staff to incorporate digital technology solutions in the classroom. Technology Hub Specialist specializes in training and supporting faculty in the integration of online resources, software, and other electronic resources into the classroom. Technology Hub Specialist provides faculty and student development sessions is available to help faculty and students individually and collaborate with the Information Technology department to help faculty and students incorporate new software and hardware in their course offerings.

    Primary Responsibilities:

      Create and manage new Technology Hub in collaboration with Information Technology and Academic Affairs.Collaborate and consult with faculty on effective instructional design strategies, web-based resources, multimedia technologies, and instructional software.Promote innovations in educational technology, emerging trends, and effective pedagogy with digital technology.Research, evaluate, and integrate new and emerging educational technologies.Work with the Instructional Designer on assisting faculty with digital technology solutions.Ensure STEM by Design project compliance by successfully implementing strategies as outlined in the narrative, including participation in grant reporting.Perform other duties, responsibilities, or special projects as assigned.
    Skills and Experience:

    • Master's degree preferred. Strong preference for a degree, certificate, or experience in Software Training, User Experience, Educational Technology, Instructional Design Technologist, or related field.
    • Experience training others in software applications.
    • Experience supervising and scheduling others.
    • Experience helping others incorporate digital technology in the classroom is strongly preferred.
    • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
