Student status is required to be eligible for student positions. Must be enrolled in a minimum of six hours during a long semester. Maintain a GPA of 2.0 or higher. Limited to working up to 20 hours a week. Lamar State College-Port Arthur is an E-Verify Employer.

Job Summary:

The student assistant in the Enrollment Services Office will assist the Enrollment Counselors with various office duties and conduct campus tours.

Minimum Qualifications:

Typing, copy machine, excellent phone etiquette. Must have excellent customer service skills, a great can-do attitude and Seahawk spirit. Must be reliable and able to follow instructions. Position requires extensive walking for conducting campus tours. Must be able to carry and lift up to 50 pounds on occasion.
