The Department of Modern Foreign Languages and Literatures at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, is seeking applications for a tenure-track position in Francophone Sub-Saharan African literature and culture at the rank of assistant professor, to begin fall 2023.Qualifications:
The ability to contribute to interdisciplinary research in fields such as gender studies, Africana and diaspora studies, transatlantic studies, etc. is highly desirable. PhD in French or related field is required. Native or near-native proficiency in French and English is essential. Candidates must be able to demonstrate excellence in teaching and in scholarly research.
