Director of Undergraduate Recruitment - University of Pittsburgh (hybrid-remote position)

The Director of Undergraduate Recruitment will develop, coordinate, implement, and oversee an effective undergraduate student recruitment program committed to improving new student enrollment and retention for undergraduate students at the University of Pittsburgh. This includes leading a team of associate and assistant directors and enrollment services managers, management of the recruitment strategies and supervision of the planning and implementation of the recruitment program for first-year, transfer, and international students as well as all training and evaluation of the ESM’s who will participate in recruitment and territory management for our office. The Director of Undergraduate Recruitment will have budgetary responsibility that includes using data to determine future spending and create efficiencies. This person will review and evaluate applications for admission and have a working knowledge of University policies and procedures. This position will also travel on behalf of the University. Master’s degree required. Experience (successful track record of student recruitment, enrollment, and retention experience in a high-volume, major department) may be substituted for education per the University guidelines. Prior University experience in an admissions and/or financial aid environment is preferable, or a combination of education and experience. Must have demonstrated communications skills, both written and verbal. This person must quickly become familiar with policies, procedures, goals, and objectives of the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid. Must have prior supervisory experience.
