Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:45pm; some evenings & weekends required

Job Summary: The Program Coordinator is responsible for the overall daily administration of one or more programs. Serves as a liaison between program and other departments or community.

Additional Department Summary: The Program Coordinator of Crossroads Civic Engagement Center develops, schedules, and facilitates interactive, formal, and informal civic engagement training and leadership development programs for students, staff, faculty, and community members. Conducts research. Develops over-arching learning outcomes for the student staff. Oversees the development of student staff. Coordinates various other programs related to the mission of the center. Assists in developing content for social media platforms and digital content development.

Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in political science, international studies, history or related degree and two (2) years of experience.

Skills and Knowledge: Workshop facilitation skills for effective delivery of the Center’s curriculum. Excellent problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills and be professional when dealing with all aspects of the Center's work. Ability to coordinate and publish social media and web content (including original text, images, and video) to increase the Center’s brand awareness and encourage engagement with Center activities. Ability to work independently, oversee student staff and volunteers, and be organized to ensure that tasks are professionally executed in a timely manner. Be resourceful and take the initiative when needed.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience conducting and facilitating workshops and training sessions in support of the work of a center.
