Required Qualifications: Applicants must specifically address how they meet these required qualifications to meet the requirements of the position.:

  1. Professional knowledge of Dynamics CRM (including D365) with development experience in Microsoft technologies including .NET C#, JavaScript, Web Services, Azure Service Bus, etc.
  2. Professional understanding of Dynamics 365 CRM Apps (i.e. Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, etc.), entity model, and platform architecture.
  3. Thorough understanding of IT interfaces, SQL, databases, systems, and applications integration.
  4. Experience gathering technical requirements, identifying solutions and producing quality technical designs, both within Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and in the wider context of digital business transformations.
  5. Excellent problem solving, analytical, and systems skills with high attention to detail.
  6. Self-starter and team player with outstanding written and verbal interpersonal skills.
  7. Authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring VISA sponsorship or transfer.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. 3+ years with Microsoft Dynamics CRM and development experience with Microsoft technologies (NET C#, JavaScript, Web Services, Azure Service Bus, etc.)
  2. Experience building and deploying Dynamics 365 packages from sandbox and Prod.
  3. Experience expanding Dynamics CRM capabilities through the creation of forms, entities, workflow, and reports.
  4. Extensive experience developing web applications in .NET technology (VB.NET, C#).
  5. Extensive experience working with database technology (SQL Server, Oracle).
  6. Experience with Redis or other non-relational data systems.
  7. High proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
  8. Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps.
  9. Experience with ADA compliance requirements and testing.

Job Description:

We are looking for a Microsoft Dynamics CRM Developer to join our Business Analysis and Solutions department at Texas State University. A successful candidate will assist with problem-solving and develop technical solutions that meet business needs. The employee should possess experience, initiative, enthusiasm, and a dedication to success. This is a great opportunity to be part of a close-knit team, focused on designing, developing, and delivering state-of-the-art, mission-critical solutions utilizing the Microsoft Dynamics 365 technology suite.

Job Duties:

  • Responsible for the Microsoft Dynamics CRM development, maintenance, and administration.
  • Own Microsoft Dynamics CRM and other related support (user setups, profiles and roles, reports, and dashboards, common Data Model extensions, customize features, fields, record types, etc.) and support/collaborate with university customers.
  • Create, maintain, and customize CRM page layouts, build custom workflow, familiarity with validation rules, event triggers, email alerts, and common record types, and maintain existing workflow processes within CRM.
  • Develop new and manage existing integrations across all supported internal Enterprise System applications that connect to the CRM platform.
  • Collaborate with other members of the development team and business analysts to deliver solutions that surpass client expectations while meeting deadlines and budgets.
  • Proactively evaluate application performance to identify and resolve potential problems.
  • Effectively communicate with technical and non-technical staff.
  • Work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Information to Applicants:

This is a Systems Project Staff (SPS) position, which is a non-permanent, benefits eligible position for one year and is subject to renewal.

There are opportunities for a flexible schedule and remote work arrangement for this position, based on the employee’s ability to meet performance expectations.
