Job Description This position is our lead research tech for our emergency medicine clinical trials research team. This position will be responsible for primary screening and enrolling of patients, serving as site coordinator on multiple trials, and leading and mentoring the team of part-time research technicians. Reviewing current emergency department patients for potential enrollment in clinical trialsInteract directly with patients, discussing and obtaining consent, answering any and all questionsProcessing enrollment documentsCoordination with physicians and other staff, accurate record-keeping and protocol adherence.Performing tasks in a laboratory setting.Serve as team lead and training lead for part-time research techs
Attending required site coordinator meetings with external and internal sponsors and departments

High school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
Experience in clinical trials, research, emergency medicine, or study coordination.
