Job Summary/Basic Function:

The Management and Marketing department at times needs temporary, part-time instructors to fill in for faculty on sabbaticals and leaves.

Courses have ranged from an introductory level general business course to upper-level courses such as MIS, Business Statistics, Human Resource Management, Quantitative Methods, Management and Marketing.

Teach face-to-face classes days or evenings as scheduled. In addition to teaching, there is an expectation for scholarship and service commensurate with the assignment.

Required Qualifications:

MBA in Management or Marketing or other business area from an AACSB or ACBSP accredited institution. Business experience including demonstrated professional development activities. Teaching experience at AACSB/ACBSP accredited school and/or significant industry experience in field, in addition to a successful interview and teaching demonstration. Potential ability to teach courses in discipline. Evidence of a commitment to working in a diverse environment. Successful background checks: Act 34 (Criminal Record Check); Act 114 (FBI Federal Criminal History-Fingerprinting); and Act 151 (Child Abuse History Clearance).

Preferred Qualifications:

Doctorate or “all but dissertation” in Management or Marketing from an AACSB or ACBSP accredited institution.
