Service Aide II

Position:

Support the day to day operation of the the Warehousing/Surplus Property Department. This includes the pick-up of surplus property, warehouse check-in procedures, electronic and computer sanitization, on-line auction preparation, & general warehousing duties.



Qualifications
Job Function/Responsibilities:

  • Check-in surplus property and prepare the items for on-line auctions.
  • Pick-up surplus property and learn the various departments within the campus.
  • Learn the sanitization process for computers and various other electronic equipment
  • Making pictures and posting auctions on-line.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Candidate must possess interpersonal skills that will allow them to successfully communicate with a diverse group of employees and customers.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to complete basic paperwork related to the warehousing process is essential.
  • Must have the ability to learn warehousing policies and procedures and apply that knowledge on a daily basis.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Organizational skills associated with warehousing, forklift driving skills, and ability to take digital pictures.
Required level/type of experience and/or years of experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED
Preferred level/type of experience and/or years of experience:

  • One year of warehousing experience.
