Position Summary:

Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Computer Systems/Data Analyst, Boca Raton, FL.

Summary of Responsibilities Include:

  • Prepare and submit data file requests that are submitted to the Board of Governors, Board of Trustees, Provost Office, or other requestors.

  • Create admissions and degree completion data reports.

  • Develops standardized practices for importing, cleaning, transforming, and validating data which includes managing the data exchanges with vendors.

  • Coordinate, manage, enhance data requirements, and produce reporting for data driven decision making within the Graduate College's activities at FAU.

  • Analyze data from the student information system (SIS), currently Banner, and other data sources and program in real-time dashboards/reports, using tools like PowerBI and Webfocus.

  • Serve as the project manager for technical projects or projects assigned.

  • Manage and provide support for the Graduate Admissions Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform, Centralized Application System (CAS) by Liaison.

  • Work with the Office of Information Technology (OIT) to manage and streamline Graduate College communications, using the Salesforce platform.

  • Provide technical assistance in the data cleanup and integrity of the admissions data in the student information system, the CRM system, and the scanning system.

  • Manage all data access requests for the Graduate College.

  • Uses data and system analysis to identify opportunities in existing business practices to improve business processes, collaborate with OIT to resolve systems and/or data issues.

  • Coordinate all computer support requests with the OIT for the Graduate College. This includes submitting and tracking incident and service requests.

  • Manage computer inventory, technical purchases, and technology refresh cycles for the Graduate College.

  • Develop and maintain web forms (Frevvo) for the Graduate College. Coordinate with OIT for any web form support.

  • Perform other job related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience required.

Salary:

$50,000 - $65,000 per year.
