Job Details
The Student Support Manager will serve as a unifying initial point of contact, ensuring a seamless experience for prospective and current students engaged with MET Admissions, Graduate Financial Assistance, and Enrollment & Student Success.
- Supervise and train staff and student workers that serve as the initial point of contact for prospective and current students.
- Coordinate responses to email, phone, and internet communications supporting MET Admissions, Enrollment & Student Success, and Graduate Financial Assistance.
- Engage in multiple activities related admissions, student advising, recruiting, and retention activities to augment MET enrollments and student satisfaction.
- Engage in outreach to and respond to inquiries from prospective and current students and work closely with academic departments and marketing to ensure that students receive clear and accurate information and prompt responses.
- B.A./B.S. required, Master's Degree preferred
- Five to eight years of experience
- A positive and enthusiastic demeanor and professionalism
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A strong team player that can also work independently to meet goals and deadlines
- Strong writing and computing skills (MS Office), ability to give presentations to small and large audiences
- Occasional evenings/weekends required
