Job Summary

Successful applicants will instruct graduate level courses in the Foundations area of Teacher

Education, Leadership, and Counseling, with a focus on at least one of the following content areas:
  • Educational psychology
  • Educational research
  • Educational statistics

Courses will be offered in a range of modalities beyond traditional settings, including hybrid and online formats. Job assignment is dependent on the needs of the department.


Position responsibilities include:
    Meet all designated course instruction guidelines for effectively leading course (s) (40%) Maintain and use course learning management system to support instructional delivery and course activities as appropriate (20%) Grade all assignments and exams in a timely manner based on instructions/rubrics provided (30%) Respond to student inquiries within 24 hours (5%) Submit final grades according to school policy (5%)

Required Qualifications

An Ed.D or PhD in Educational Leadership, PhD Educational Psychology, PhD in Educational Research or a closely related field.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
    Effectively teach (online/hybrid) courses designated by the program Support student growth in the knowledge base of the content area by providing a positive learning experience via faculty to student and student to student relationship development Prepare syllabi from model syllabi and otherwise Develop and grade assignments Familiarity with course learning management system to support instructional delivery and course activities
