ADJUNCT FACULTY FOR COMPUTER SCIENCE

POSITION: ADJUNCT FACULTY FOR COMPUTER SCIENCE (Part-Time)

DEPARTMENT: COMPUTER SCIENCE, ENGINEERING AND MATHEMATICS

DIVISION: COLLEGE OF STEM

OPENING DATE: AUGUST 2, 2022

CLOSING DATE: UNTIL FILLED

This part-time appointment is expected to begin in January 2023 and is contingent upon departmental needs.

Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be expected to teach computer science courses to support the liberal studies curriculum of the University and the degree programs in the department. The faculty member will be required to evaluate and use current technology in courses and to maintain a positive educational relationship with students and colleagues.

Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Master's degree or higher with at least 18 graduate credit hours in Computer Science. Preference will be given to candidates with experience teaching or mentoring a diverse student body.

Finalists for this position are subject to a background check. Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background investigation including criminal history and identity check.
