POSITION: FACILITIES COORDINATOR
DEPARTMENT: FACILITIESDIVISION: FINANCE & ADMINISTRATIONOPENING DATE: MAY 17, 2022CLOSING DATE: UNTIL FILLED

Responsibilities: Reporting to the Director of Facilities Services, this position will perform complex, confidential, administrative, and project-focused duties. Supports overall departmental management and coordination of various business-related functions such as finance, budget, space utilization, facilities planning, grant administration, and policy dissemination. The Facilities Coordinator will support the mission of the Facilities Department to assist with the planning, development, operation, and maintain the campus to establish a strong foundation for its growth. Assists the Director of Facilities Services in developing departmental planning and monitoring progress.

Qualifications: Requires a Bachelor's degree in business or related field with a minimum of 4 years of related business, project management or administrative experience. Must demonstrate competence in applying general personnel practices, accounting and budgeting principles and coordination of major administrative functions. A combination of relevant work experience and education may be considered. Strong organizational and project management skills are desired. Requires knowledge of performance and operations management and is competent in assuming delegated duties. Willingness and ability to maintain the highest degree of confidentiality and discretion. Comfortable using graphic platforms, managing calls on video-graphic platforms and video-conference software such as Zoom, Teams, WebEx, etc. Demonstrated proficiency with intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office as well as the ability to type 40 words per minute with accuracy. Excellent oral and written communication skills are also required.

Preferred Qualifications: Strong organizational and project management skills:Ability to work with interdisciplinary teams;Experience in grants administration is strongly preferred;Familiarity with Jenzabar, Banner or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems:Candidates must be comfortable working in large group settings as well as indoor and outdoor work environments.
