Job Description:


BHCC is seeking dynamic adjunct faculty to teach in the Visual Media Arts Department beginning Fall Semester, between 9/06/2022-12/20/2022.


Openings available in the following courses:


  • VMA-275 Interactive Design I (In-person, Wednesday) 6:00PM-8:45PM
  • VMA-100 VMA Freshman Seminar (Remote, Tuesday) 2:30PM-5:15PM; or (In-person, Tuesday) 10:00AM-12:45PM
  • VMA-129 Visual Design with HTML & CSS (In-person, Wednesday) 2:30PM-3:45PM
  • VMA-151 Intro to Audio Technology (In-person, Wednesday) 1:00PM 3:45PM


Requirements:


  • Master's Degree in related field or substantial relevant experience

  • Commitment to advancing equity and access in the classroom.

  • College teaching experience, especially at community college level, preferred.

  • Proven ability to work with a diverse faculty, staff and student population.



Additional Information:


Salary: $1,132.00 Per Credit Hour.


Effective Date: Fall 2022 semester, open until filled.

Bunker Hill Community College (BHCC) is a multi-campus urban institution, its main campus situated in the historic Charlestown neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. A second campus is located in nearby Chelsea, Massachusetts; five satellites are located in the local communities of Cambridge, Chinatown, Revere, Somerville and Boston’s South End.
