Primary Responsibilities

  • Answer alarms and investigate disturbance
  • Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences
  • Patrol campus premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates
  • Render first aid care as needed
  • Report potential risk management or occupational safety issues
  • Maintains the confidentiality of the information the associate will be exposed to.
  • Reports for their work shift on time, works their allotted hours (19 hours during regular school weeks, up to 40 hours during breaks), and coordinates time-off requests ahead of time with the exception of unforeseen emergencies
  • All hours must be submitted on your last shift of the week to be approved.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Commitment Date:

The student employee must agree to a minimum period of 1-year employment or 2 semesters. The candidate must be able to start immediately.

  • Must be CPR/Basic First Aid certified within 90 days of hired date
  • Proven ability to multitask with attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to professionally defuse stressful situations
  • Exhibits punctuality and professionalism
