Student status is required to be eligible for student positions. Must be enrolled in a minimum of six hours during a long semester. Maintain a GPA of 2.0 or higher. Limited to working no more than 20 hours per week. Job Summary:

Attendant at Information Desk on the 2nd floor of the Student Center. Will ensure that students visiting the campus receive information promoting events and activities on campus. Will control the use of gaming systems and secure equipment to ensure that controllers and games are accounted for. Will share responsibilities in ID room creating student and faculty ID’s, issuing student parking tags, updating spreadsheets, assisting with events and activities, updating bulletin boards and other duties as assigned. Outstanding communication and customer service skills are required. The ideal candidate will have the ability to multi-task and feel comfortable utilizing computers. Candidates must be flexible with scheduling work days and hours.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be in good academic standing and maintaining satisfactory academic progress. Must maintain a 2.0 GPA or better. Must be enrolled at least a half-time basis of at least six hours during the Fall/Spring semesters, or at least three semester hours during each of the summer sessions, for a total of six semester hours. Must be a citizen of the United States, a U.S. national or permanent resident.

Preferred Qualifications:

Typing, copy machine, excellent phone etiquette, knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Power Point is a plus. Must have excellent customer service skills, a great can-do attitude and Seahawk spirit. Must be reliable and able to follow instructions. This is a valuable work experience and makes an excellent addition for future employment reference.

Salary:

8.50 hourly

Work Hours:

Students can work at least 20 hours a week but, they cannot exceed 20 hours a week.
