JOB DESCRIPTION:

Reporting to the Director of Advancement Marketing Operations and Services, the Advancement Marketing Operations Specialist provides support for all of Advancement's marketing technology, including our alumni website, email marketing, event forms, and more. In addition, this role will help transition the department onto new marketing platforms, including Pardot (a marketing automation tool integrated with Salesforce) and Blackthorn (an event management tool).

The ideal candidate will have a background in marketing and/or marketing automation, enjoy overseeing student workers, and be comfortable learning new technology. This position will work collaboratively with the entire Advancement department to help them accomplish their marketing goals.

Responsibilities:

• Develops dynamic online registration, merchandise, and giving forms; provides support for email communications, and builds out email and mailing campaigns with the goal of increasing alumni engagement and donor giving
• Maintains Always Berry website by regularly monitoring the site for improvements, building new page layouts, and performing general edits as needed
• Provides support and 1:1 training to Advancement staff on all marketing platforms
• Provides deliverables such as detailed reports and analysis using Salesforce and/or marketing platforms to support the successful operations of the Advancement department

REQUIREMENTS:

Skills:

3+ years of experience in marketing

Experience with marketing technology such as Constant Contact, Emma, Pardot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, etc.
Experience with website builders such as WordPress or Squarespace
Ability to keep track of multiple deadlines and communicate changes with all stakeholders in a professional manner
Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience within Salesforce, HubSpot, Blackbaud Raiser's Edge, or other similar CRM software

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Private office in a building is also used by campus and outside guests.

Sitting and standing in a typical office environment.
