Under the supervision of the Executive Director of Professional Education and Corporate Learning, oversees project implementation, outcomes, data tracking, and reporting for a Nurse Aide training program. This position works closely with our employer partners in our Pay to Train model and with area high schools, under the direction of the HCC Assistant Vice President for Adult Education and Workforce Development.

  • Maintains program compliance with requirements of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, Prometric Nurse Aide testing, and Massachusetts Red Cross, as well as employer policies and procedures.
  • Maintains program compliance with funder.
  • Coordinates Clinical Rotations at area employer partner sites for all programs, according to MA Department of Public Health regulations
  • Works with Assistant Vice President and administration of area high schools to coordinate Nurse Aide training schedules, materials, testing, and certifications.
  • Collaborates with Executive Director and Assistant Vice President, HCC faculty and staff and external health center partners on the sustainability of project activities.
  • Oversees implementation, outcomes, data tracking, and reporting for project across all partners.
  • Maintains weekly communications with senior/key staff of the project and relevant college personnel.
  • Provides support to Executive Director and Assistant Vice President and program staff in the implementation of program evaluation.
  • Generates quarterly program reports for review and final editing by Executive Director.
  • Ensures all student vaccination, immunization, and other health requirements are completed, and documentation submitted, in accordance with program timelines.
  • Assists Executive Director and other program staff on all operations of the project.
  • Attends local, regional, and project meetings.
  • Qualifications

    REQUIRED:

    Bachelor’s degree in related field. Minimum three (3) years’ experience coordinating workforce development training programs, or equivalent.Ability to function effectively as part of a complex team, working effectively as an individual contributor, team member, and as a manager of a complex project and project resources.Demonstrated experience in managing outcomes-based programs.Outstanding written and oral communication skills.Knowledge of the basic work skills required by healthcare employers.Understanding of the barriers faced by low income and diverse populations. Demonstrated effectiveness working effectively with diverse faculty, staff, and students.Ability to work in-person on HCC campus, as well as at employer sites and area high schools. (COVID-19 vaccination required)

    PREFERRED: Master’s degree.Direct experience coordinating Nurse Aide or other healthcare training programs.Knowledge of MA Department of Public Health regulations for Nurse Aide programs.Knowledge of and experience with Prometric Nurse Aide testing requirements.Experience working in a community college or a similar institution of higher education, community organization, or large institution. Bi-lingual, bi-cultural competency.

    Full-time, Non-Unit Professional position


    Salary Range: $59,956-$66,196/year, plus a comprehensive State benefits package

    Hours: 37.5 hrs./week

    Funding Source: Grant 1st year, (2nd year pending additional funding)
