The successful candidate must be eligible for a full-time clinical academic appointment at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor at the University of Toronto. The candidate will have an academic position description of Clinician-Teacher (CT), Clinician-Educator (CE), Clinician in Quality and Innovation (CQI) or Clinician Investigator (CI). There is preference for an individual who will be able to build the research portfolio, as it pertains to education, quality or clinical care, in medical oncology within the division. The successful candidate will hold an MD degree and should have, or be eligible for, certification in Medical Oncology by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO). The successful candidate will also have or be working towards a graduate degree or other advanced training relevant to their area of specialization. In addition, the successful candidate will participate fully in the relevant educational activities, including supervision of fellowship trainees in Medical Oncology at St. Michael’s Hospital and the University of Toronto and collaborate in clinical research and quality improvement programs.
