Job Details
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
•Assists patrons with circulation desk transactions including check-out/check-in of library materials and receipt of money for lost books and/or fines.
•Checks IDs for entry as needed.
•Handles incoming calls and mail.
•Processes deselected materials using library management system (WMS); maintains records documenting deselection decisions.
•Compiles daily statistics for the Circulation unit, and monthly statistics for all Resource and Collection Services units.
•Adds and maintains records in WMS for all special users; communicates with external constituents (Alumni Relations, LILRC, local libraries, etc.) to resolve issues related to special users.
•Handles daily cash receipts in absence of the Senior Supervisor.
•May perform other duties not specifically identified above, but which require the same degree of skills and which are normally included within the above title.
Work Hours: Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm.

•Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills.
•Ability to prioritize tasks.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications:
•Knowledge of library operations and procedures.
