Assistant or Associate Professor, Academic Orthopedic Infectious Diseases Physician

Nature of Work:
Orthopedic Infectious Diseases Physician or Physician-Scientist. The Division of Infectious Diseases is recruiting a faculty member at the University of Colorado School of Medicine (Anschutz Medical Campus) who will have primary duties in clinical infectious diseases with special interest and experience in orthopedic infections. Responsibilities will include inpatient and outpatient consultative services, active involvement in the musculoskeletal infections program, participation in division educational activities, development of quality improvement and research projects.
Applicants must have completed an accredited Infectious Diseases fellowship and be ABIM board eligible or board certified in Infectious Diseases. Applicants should have demonstrated aptitude for scholarly achievement. Experience in basic, translational or clinical research in Infectious Diseases is desirable.

The salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established at:
Assistant Professor- $164,000 to $220,000
Associate Professor- $185,000 - $250,000
The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.
The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
