Job Overview

The UC College of Medicine Center for Clinical and Translational Science and Training (CCTST) is recruiting a full-time Program Manager. This position will manage the operations and core functions of the Acute Care Research Core (ACRC) and serve as the central person for data collection and management of evaluation metrics (e.g., publications and grant awards) from the CCTST cores necessary for reasons of reporting and measuring return on investment. This position will offer flexibility for a hybrid remote schedule for applicants with a residence within OH/IN/KY. Hybrid remote work arrangements are subject to change in accordance with university policies.

Essential Functions
  • Manage, design, develop, modify and present programs, classes and workshops. Perform program needs assessment and make recommendations.
  • Develop program objectives and monitor quantitative and qualitative data on progress toward objectives. Review objectives to identify problems and solutions, prioritize solutions and develop action steps for program improvement.
  • Develop grant proposal guidelines and ensure all regulatory processes are in place for funding to occur.
  • Coordinate and manage ACRC educational programming: plan and execute annual ACRC symposiums (ACRC Fall Symposium and Resident and Fellow ACR Spring Showcase); assist with other ACR-related educational opportunities.
  • Act as liaison to internal departments, external entities and community organizations.
  • May prepare and edit reports and/or newsletters and develop publication materials.
  • Work with several core areas to collect and organize Return on Investment (ROI) metrics related to publications and grants from award recipients.
  • Work with automated systems for integrating data from several sources and organize diverse types of data into reports that reflect individual and program outcomes.
  • Monitor automated tracking data for awardees/trainees on an ongoing basis.
  • Follow-up with awardees/trainees to verify publications and grants related to CCTST training and internal grant awards.
  • Perform related duties based on departmental need.
Required Education
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Seven (7) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
Required Experience
  • Three (3) years of relevant experience.
Additional Qualifications Considered
  • Demonstrated experience with databases and data reporting.
  • Familiarity with working in a research environment.
  • Related experience, preferably in a college or university setting.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
  • Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
