Job Overview

The College of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Digestive Diseases is looking for an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine with an interest and expertise in the areas of GI diseases and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).

Essential Functions

Duties for the Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Division of Digestive Diseases will include:

• Contributing to the clinical/patient care, research and teaching missions of the division.
• Clinical duties including responsibilities for treating patients while accompanied by learners such as our students, residents and fellows.
• Encompassing an active role in departmental fellowship programs resident teaching (e.g. evaluating curriculum and instruction to residents, and completing required evaluations), and presentations at the local, regional and national levels.

Minimum Requirements

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or an equivalent degree.
