Reporting Relationship: Accountable to the Learning Coordinator, School of Health
The typical schedule will be Monday through Friday, eight work hours per day with an unpaid lunch, as assigned by the supervisor. While these hours are typical, they may be subject to change as workload and needs of leadership, program and work areas, students and customers change.
Position Summary: Serve as a Health Simulation Technician providing direct support to faculty and leadership for simulation activities, and divisional support within and outside classroom and laboratory settings. The Simulation Technician specializes in both the technologies and methods used in the planning, preparation, and execution of simulation-based healthcare training and education events.

QualificationsAssociate Degree in area of health sciences and/or technology and two years of experience working in a simulation lab with mannequins and simulation software, preferred. A minimum of two years of Healthcare related experience with one year post-secondary education. Additional appropriate experience will be considered as an equivalent to one year of post-secondary education. This position must demonstrate the ability to assume responsibility without direct supervision, exercise initiative and judgment and make decisions within the scope of authority. Must be detail-oriented and possess strong organizational skills.
