Pay Grade/Pay Range: 57 Monthly (exempt): - Minimum - $ 35027.16 Midpoint - $ 51147.24

Department/Organization: 208123 - Institute for Rural Health Research

Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:45pm, limited evenings and weekends

Job Summary: The Research Associate works with departmental staff to design and conduct research projects.

Required Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in an appropriate field (field of study may vary depending on research subject area) with some previous research experience. Student or Graduate Assistant, Intern, or student oriented research experience will be considered. To be considered student experience, it must be detailed in the employment section on the application.

Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in Public Health, Health Education or Promotion.

Skills and Knowledge: Ability to work independently within the assigned scope of work, identifying and performing a wide variety of activities that require the use of independent judgement, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

Must maintain excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as proficiency in documentation skills for detailed projects and processes, including HIPPA guidelines, project confidentiality, and privacy.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a rural community.
