Job Summary

Reporting to the Vice President for University Advancement, the Associate Vice President of Constituent Relations and Engagement helps drive the detailed execution of a comprehensive stakeholder engagement program, bringing to life the university brand through the curation and execution of unique and meaningful experiences that inspire and engage constituents. As a valued resource and thought partner, this position will creatively engage the Wolves Family of alumni, donors, parents, students and friends, in order to advance their leadership, advocacy, service and philanthropy to UWG.

Responsibilities

Engagement ' At the direction of the Vice President, work closely with and serve as a liaison to UWG's First Lady and First Family to curate meaningful engagements on behalf of the university, creating a social calendar outlining engagement opportunities on campus and in the communities served by UWG to enhance visibility and elevate the profile of the university through outreach and service.

Special Events ' Work collaboratively with the Donor Relations and Special Events position to plan and execute signature university events, University Advancement events, President's Office events, and other small private events that are geared toward cultivation, stewardship, or other related purpose. Balancing strategic thinking with tactical, detailed execution, ensure personalized approach and re-imagine existing events or systems to be more relevant.

Board Relations ' Work closely with the Vice President on items related to the volunteer service boards for the university's affiliated foundations, inclusive of developing and executing strategy surrounding how the respective boards will contribute to the broader organizational objectives

Donor Relations ' Work collaboratively with the Donor Relations and Special Events position, as well as campus partners to strategize, develop and manage events and programs to ensure consistent experiences, systems, and processes. Provide support and oversight to ensure consistent branding and messaging for giving levels and societies to nurture and foster relationships. Assist with monitoring swag inventory, setting up a gift log, and ordering/reordering merchandise for giveaways.

Other duties as assigned ' May include drafting communication, writing presentations, helping to tell the university's story in a way that resonates with stakeholders. Other special projects.

Required Qualifications

Other Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in appropriate field of work required. Eight-ten years experience in public relations/marketing.

Preferred Qualifications

Additional Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in appropriate field of work preferred. Experience in public relations/marketing in the field of higher education.
