Position Summary:The Organizational Behavior academic area within the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking to fill a Clinical Assistant Professor position with an anticipated start date of September 1, 2022. A successful candidate will be a creative and effective teacher capable of contributing to the school’s Undergraduate and Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs.
The primary criterion for acceptance is demonstrated teaching experience and excellence. Salary is competitive, and the position will be supervised by the Area Chair. The individual in this position is also expected to become actively involved in the Kenan-Flagler Business School intellectual communities by regularly participating in workshops, seminars, and area functions.
The main duties will be teaching in the Undergraduate and Full-Time MBA programs, although the individual in the position will coordinate with the Area Chair and programs to fill classes as needed.
Applicants must have completed a Ph.D. in a social science discipline (e.g., Organizational Behavior, Sociology, Psychology, Economics) or a related discipline prior to beginning work activities. Teaching experience at the university level is also a requirement.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience:Undergraduate or graduate-level teaching experience is highly preferred.

Location: UNC is located in the heart of Chapel Hill, the best college town in America! It's a friendly town of about 40,000 in the geographical center of North Carolina. Chapel Hill is at the western point of the Research Triangle, an area of about one million people, comprised of Chapel Hill, the cities of Durham and Raleigh, and the Research Triangle Park, home of many corporate offices and scientific research centers. Carolina Computing Initiative: Beginning with the freshman class of 2000, undergraduates must purchase laptop computers. The University has arranged for IBM to offer computers at excellent prices.
