Job Summary::Do you enjoy working outdoors? Can others always count on you to be on-time and prepared? Then KVCC may have the perfect part-time opportunity for you.
KVCC is currently looking for part-time groundskeepers. This position reports to the Vehicle and Grounds Manager and is responsible for mowing lawns, planting and landscaping grounds, snow removal, parking lot striping, and trash pick-up.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Prior groundskeeper experience is required.
A valid Michigan driver’s license is required.
Experience with heavy equipment operation is preferred.
Physical Demands::Must be physically capable of handling prolonged exposure to weather conditions.
Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
Must possess the ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
Must be able to reach, bend, and stoop frequently.
Must be able to use hand/power tools and groundskeeping equipment.
Up to 29 hours per week; primarily between 7:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday - Friday; flexibility required depending upon weather conditions and groundskeeping needs.
