Required Qualifications

Master's degree from an accredited college or university in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, cell biology or other natural, life, health care or materials science directly related to the research area to which the position is assigned and experience in research, basic science or clinical laboratory particularly clinical trial research.

OR

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, cell biology or other natural, life, health care or materials science directly related to the research area to which the position is assigned and a minimum of three years' research and/or clinical experience.

 

This position will require the acquisition of a P-Card and/or handle cash, credit or other sensitive information and will require a satisfactory Consumer Credit check as a condition of employment.

 

 

Job Summary

Duties include, but are not limited to: Uploading, tracking and entering all IND safety reports for all active studies; uploading and maintaining documents in the eRegulatory systems for all studies; provide regulatory support to regulatory coordinators which includes but is not limited to: initial submissions, amendments, continuations and annual reports, ensuring the submissions are in compliance with federal, state and local regulations; assist with obtaining local approvals (biosafety, radiation safety, IT requests, etc.); obtaining electronic and ink signatures; Assist in uploading documents, training and onboarding of staff and faculty for sponsor regulatory management systems. Additional regulatory duties as needed.

 

The duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Participate in research project planning and experimentation while insuring adherence to accepted scientific research principles and compliance with relevant federal and institutional guidelines.
  • Perform experiments in the laboratory, including animal experiments. Use computer to analyze experimental results.
  • Laboratory ordering and P-card ordering, Maintenance of laboratory reagents and consumables.
  • Prepare data and graphs for grant submission or article submission. Help compose scientific article for submission. Present findings at scientific meetings, locally, nationally, or internationally.
  • Collaborate and teach some research students on basic molecular biology techniques.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

 

 

Shift/Salary

Shift: Days, Monday - Friday (Work outside of normal business hours may be required)

 

Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position
