Educational and Experience Requirement:Bachelor’s Degree in related field. Four years relevant administrative assistant experience or experience in a related field. Experience in Higher Education is desirable. A combination of education, experience, and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities could be considered.

Performs advanced and complex administrative duties for the Associate Vice Provost for Faculty Success and the Associate Vice Provost for Student Success in coordinating and supervising of business activities and staff services within the division.
Primary Responsibilities:Performs, coordinates, and oversees a wide variety of executive administrative duties in support of the Associate Vice Provosts. Develops, coordinates, and implements assigned processes. Works as a liaison between departments on special projects. Prepares reports and documents for internal and external constituents. Coordinates and compiles data received from a variety of sources relating to the effectiveness of an assigned activity, program, or project. Receives inquiries and responds to questions and requests of a complex or confidential nature; refers highly sensitive or specialized matters to the appropriate official. Assures compliance with federal and state laws and university rules and regulations as they apply to areas of responsibility. Researches issues of importance for preparation and dissemination of information to committees and academic support departments the Associate Vice Provosts may chair. Prepares, reviews, revises, and distributes documents and general correspondence of a routine nature. Reviews internal procedures and recommends needed changes. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Other Specifications:Communicates with other university departments, local vendors, and off-campus agencies. Ability to organize work effectively and prioritize objectives with a high level of independent judgment and initiative. Should be detail-oriented. Ability to work collaboratively both within Academic Affairs and with other University personnel. Ability to integrate resources, policies, and information for the determination of procedures, solutions, and other outcomes. Skilled in directing multiple tasks, setting priorities, and organizing operations. Should be a self-starter and able to function independently. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with administration, faculty, staff, and the public. Must exercise discretion and utilize strong reasoning and problem-solving skills. Requires strong written and oral communication skills.
