Job Summary

JOB TYPE: 12 Month, contingent on grant funding

Reports to: MSP Project Director

Project coordinator (PC) at SSU. This is a full time position. The project coordinator will see to the daily implementation of the various tasks on SSU campus. He/she will be the central node for coordination among the various units and participants. The PC will be primarily responsible for the recruitment and outreach programs. Working with the PD, the project coordinator will facilitate the transfer of students to SSU under the various articulation agreements that will be drawn between SSU and the two year institutions.

Responsibilities
  • Schedule program activities to determine consistency with project goals and objectives
  • Coordinate student support and training activities
  • Assist in organizing the summer bridge program
  • Maintain appropriate files, documentation and data regarding the participants in the MSP activities
  • Support recruitment and outreach activities
  • Assist in planning and executing professional development workshops for faculty
  • Assist Project Director (PD) and outside evaluators with grant report requirements
  • May be required to perform job related duties other than those specifically delineated in this position


Required Qualifications
  • Associate Degree


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in outreach programs
  • Bachelor's degree


Proposed Salary

Salary: $30,000
