Healthy Families Lab Project Coordinator

The College of Nursing is accepting applications for a Health Families Lab Project Coordinator position.  This position reports to Dr. Patricia Roberson.  This position will manage research participant recruitment and retention for projects in the Healthy Families Lab. This may involve calling, emailing, or face-to-face communication with potential research participants in a manner that matched IRB approved protocol. Manage necessary day-to-day tasks to complete research project (e.g., answer participant emails, send thank you cards). Oversee student researchers who may assist in Healthy Families Lab's research. Communicate with students their research responsibilities and ensure they complete the assigned tasks.



Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

- Candidate has experience with research conducted by the Healthy Families Lab (or similar)

- Candidate has experience recruiting participants for a study in a healthcare setting.

- Candidate has experience adhering to IRB protocol.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

- Candidate has an undergraduate or Masters' degree.

Required Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree with 1-2 years recruiting patients in a healthcare setting and following an IRB protocol.

Preferred Education and Experience:

Master’s degree with 1-3 year’s experience managing undergraduate students.
