Position Title:Administrative Associate
Position Description:Rider University’s Student Accessibility & Support Services Office seeks an Administrative Associate to provide administrative support to assigned staff. Individual will: assist with the day-to-day operation of the Student Accessibility & Support Services Office exercising initiative and judgment with respect to urgency, relative importance and confidential status of messages, correspondence and student information; maintain strict confidentiality in all matters regarding students and professors; and provide input on ways to maintain and improve current procedures to match the needs of the office.
Position Requirements:- A High School diploma or equivalent is required with 2-4 years of related work experience preferred.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of standard office equipment
- Computer proficiency is required with an emphasis on Google Workspace, Word, spreadsheets, and data management skills
- Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to operate independently, prioritize and organize own work schedule, multi-task, and meet established deadlines
- Excellent recordkeeping and organization skills
- Ability to represent the program to diverse customers
- Computer literate and competent in software programs such as Word, Excel, Adobe, and Banner
- Must be able to take initiative in learning new software programs or upgraded versions of existing programs
- Associate’s degree
- An interest/experience with creating various accessible forms and documents
