- Ability to develop and deliver training and education workshops.Documented experience developing and coordinating programs and events.Knowledge, sensitivity, and understanding of the social, political, personal, and cross-cultural needs of the LGBTQIA+ community.Ability to collaborate and work with other units regarding issues of diversity and community.Interpersonal skills necessary to interact with key senior management, faculty, and administrators regarding issues that impact the LGBTQIA+ community.Ability to exercise discretion, confidentiality, and excellent judgment in responding to conversional, sensitive, and/or emotional issues and situations.Ability to assess, design, implement and evaluate effective programming and policies as related to this position.Ability to effectively administer and coordinate a variety of concurrent and ongoing activities.Ability to interact professionally, effectively, and collaborate with diverse constituencies.Ability to recruit, train, and support students for work in the Center and for advocacy work on campus.
