Position Description:

The College of Education, Health and Human Sciences at the University of Tennessee is seeking an Administrative Program Support 1 staff in the Office of Professional Educator Licensure.

The position oversees and performs a range of diverse administrative activities for the College and all educator preparation licensure programs including student admission organization, data coordination of federal and state reports, and various student support and office administrative duties. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.



Qualifications
Responsibilities:

The responsibility of this role is to work with faculty, staff, stakeholders, and students to facilitate the operations of the Office of Professional Licensure. This includes:

    Coordination of admission process for undergraduate and graduate students seeking admissions to educator licensure programs. Management of student application process and system and compile data related to the admissions process. Preparation of data reports for multiple stakeholders, using multiple data sources (OIRA, Data Central Banner, and independently maintained databases). Administrative support for the Director of the Office of Professional Licensure.Provides support to the process of issuing state licensure for completers of UTK’s Educator Preparation Programs. This position will respond to inquiries in person, by phone, or emails and special requests by faculty, departments, and the public, and provides assistance with resolving problems. 
Required Qualifications:

    Bachelor's Degree with two years office experience, preferably in a student-centered academic environment.Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel), Banner, Google Suite, and Canvas.Ability to work effectively with diverse populationsProficient knowledge of data entry, management, and analytics. Strong time, project management, and organizational skillsKnowledge of university policies, procedures, and curricular information.Ability to attend to details, and multitask in a flexible, high-energy environment.Ability to follow state/federal agency guidelines and maintain required electronic records for reporting purposes.
Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications, expected salary of $39,000-$42,000. Position begins September 1, 2022.
