Minimum Qualifications:

Requires are least a high school diploma or equivalent. Please contact your Human Resources office for an evaluation of education/experience in lieu of the required minimum qualifications.

Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in sports management, business, or related field. Experience working in a customer service role or setting. Extra consideration will be given to qualified candidates with previous experience working in a ticket office setting or with the Paciolan ticketing system.

Position Summary:

The Ticket Office Internship is an 11 month position which will be responsible for: customer service via phone, mail and walk-up; conducting inbound sales and service calls; processing orders and mailings through Paciolan ticketing software; printing tickets; assisting service and retention efforts; assisting with ticket reconciliations; data entry; supervising and leading student workforce; and assisting managers/directors with other duties when necessary. Additional responsibilities will include assisting and leading in game day operations and management for football, men’s and women’s basketball, gymnastics, baseball, and, at times, post season events.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies:

Seeking a highly motivated, goal and team oriented individual who is searching for career experience in ticket operations and customer service. This is an opportunity to gain exposure within multiple facets of college athletic administration (ticket sales, customer service, operations, event management, financial management, game-day operations, marketing, development, etc.) by assisting with day-to-day operations of the University of Georgia Athletics Ticket Office.
