The DU History Department offers history courses to undergraduate students in a variety of different geographical areas and periods. Our classes are writing and reading intensive with rigorous in-class discussions, with opportunities to participate in hands-on historical research, service learning projects and internships. All of our 90-100 history majors are required to engage in a senior capstone project, a 25-30 page thesis based on primary source research and integration of secondary source materials, a rigorous endeavor.

Position Summary

The Department of History at the University of Denver is looking to hire adjunct instructors for the 2022-2023 academic year to teach a variety of undergraduate courses in early modern to modern Middle East, disease in early America, 19^th and 20^th century United States, Russia/Soviet Union, early modern and modern Europe, and ancient Rome/Greece.

Instructing undergraduate students.

• MA in a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD in a related field.

Course Rate

The standard adjunct rate for a 4-credit course will be $4,360.
