Schedule Information:  Day and/or evening part-time teaching positions, based on enrollment.

Duties of Position: 

  • Conduct online and on-site training for any of the following subjects: AI, Big Data, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, Java, and Python.
  • Evaluate student performance and record grades.
  • Ensure students who successfully complete programs receive grades, digital badge (if applicable), and access to certification and career resources.
  • Support the development of related Continuing Professional Education courses in accordance with industry certification requirements.
  • The Career and Technical Programs department offers non-transferable credit courses in career development, computer training and healthcare through Continuing Professional Education (CPE). CPE courses are short-term trainings that are completed within one semester. We continually accept proposals for new courses leading to a career. 

    Educational Requirements:  A minimum of a bachelor’s degree and the corresponding industry certification (if applicable).

    Experience Requirements:  Two years of professional experience of the subject being taught. Knowledge of safety practices in professional settings. Experience teaching adults.

    * A one-page, single spaced statement of your teaching philosophy. In your teaching philosophy, please include how you approach classroom management, how you assist students, and how you use instructional technology.
