Job Summary
Clerical, managerial, and administrative duties related to the management and support of CRMC's programs and projects. Answers telephone, assists callers, answers questions and routes calls/messages as necessary; assists with walk-in customers. Prepares, monitors and maintains budgets and financial operations. Coordinates the ordering of materials and supplies. Prepares and edits correspondence and reports; manages databases and oversees management of resource library; communicates with local school systems; coordinates event planning and publicity; operates and troubleshoots standard office machines/equipment; provides general oversight of daily CRMC operations.

Responsibilities
    Coordinates and facilitates daily operations; monitors departmental scheduling; monitors departmental e-mail account and disperses information to area teachers; drafts and/or edits a variety of correspondence, documents, publications, and/or reports; assists with development/revision of basic policy and procedures as related to CRMC; oversees work study student, student assistant or graduate assistant, as necessary. Works with director and University personnel in preparing diverse and complex budgets; monitors budgets to ensure compliance with University policy and with funding agency(s); provides regular reports of spending to funding agency(s). Maintains comprehensive records of CRMC's financial operations; prepares purchase orders; monitors billing and submits payment requests to University budget officers; completes personnel documents for submission to University; coordinates payments to project participants, as needed. Prepares billing statements and monitors receipt of payments from local school systems and private schools. Collaborates with staff members the planning of special events or activities, including coordinating room reservations and physical arrangements, catering services, publicity, and registration; facilitates registration at events. Coordinates with the office of the General Counsel on matters related to contracts with local school systems, private schools or other entities seeking services with CRMC. Maintains databases of teacher participation in CRMC projects and programs; prepares and forwards certificates and documentation to participants and school officials, as needed; maintains database of schools and school systems information for distribution of information related to CRMC projects and programs. Manages flow of information on CRMC website. Oversees operation of CRMC's resource library; manages library check-out system. Acts as a liaison between the CRMC Director, resource teachers, school system teachers and administrators, and University personnel.

Proposed Salary
$18.00 per hour. This is a 19.5-hour-per-week position.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
    Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Continually monitor and recommend improvements with departmental processes in response to changing needs. Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office, Gmail, and Google Calendar. Thorough knowledge of the principles of modern office management, and equipment. Knowledge and understanding of FERPA, and the ability to maintain confidentiality with regard to student and personnel records. Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures. Willingness to be flexible. Demonstrated customer service skills. The ability to perform simple accounting. The ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports. The ability to analyze and solve problems. The ability to provide instruction on business processes to all levels. The ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgements.
