Job Details
The Husson University Graduate Counseling and Human Relations Program is seeking to compile a pool of qualified candidates interested in future part-time teaching opportunities. Such opportunities are dependent upon the needs of the University. Assignments may require teaching day or evening classes. This position is primarily for on-campus instruction, though some online/hybrid options may be available. Interested applicants who have previously applied for the HU Counseling and Human Relations Graduate Program adjunct pool should resubmit materials to this new posting.
Examples of DutiesThe HU Counseling and Human Relations Graduate Program is seeking adjunct instructors to teach core courses and electives in the Clinical Mental Health and School Counseling graduate programs. In particular, expertise in the following is needed:
Human Growth and DevelopmentSchool CounselingPracticum and Internship instruction and clinical supervisionGroup ProcessCounseling TechniquesCareer Development and CounselingCrisis InterventionCounseling Children and AdolescentsCounseling Electives
Other core courses within the counseling curriculum may also be needed in the future. Please express interest and expertise in teaching core courses in counseling (see HU Counseling program webpages for counseling curriculum).
A doctorate in counselor education is preferred. Doctorate in counseling or a closely related field or certificate of advanced study will be considered. Minimum of masters degree in counseling or closely related field with extensive relevant experience.

Masters Prepared $933.33 maximum per credit hour*
Undergraduate Course:
Doctoral or Equivalent Prepared $1,016.67 maximum per credit hour*
Graduate Course
Masters Level Prepared $1,016.67 maximum per credit hour*
Graduate Course
Doctoral or Equivalent Prepared $1,100.00 maximum per credit hour*
*Rate is dependent upon the number of students enrolled in the course assigned.
Lab Sections Undergraduate:
Masters Prepared $1,150.00 per credit hour
Doctoral or Equivalent Prepared $1,250.00 per credit hour
