The College of Business at Husson University is looking for part-time instructors to teach the following IT courses on the Bangor campus for the fall 2022 semester (8/29/2022-12/12/2022):
Computer Applications for Digital Media – School of Technology and Innovation (IT 121) 3 credits -This introductory course provides an overview of computer fundamentals, the Internet and networks, file compression concepts, digital media applications, and digital file organization and management techniques. Students experience various software tools relevant to the communications industry including imaging, publishing, audio, video, web, presentation and cloud-based collaboration and learning systems.
Openings for at least of the following sections:
Section 01H: Monday 9:30 am – 10:45 am
Section 02H: Monday 11:00 am – 12:15 pm
Section 03H: Monday 12:45 pm – 2:00 pmExamples of Duties
Instructors will work with the Director of the School of Technology and Innovation in the College of Business. They will be supplied with a standardized curriculum that can, however, be adjusted to meet the needs of the instructor’s teaching style. Instructors will also be provided with necessary training and supportive supervision to help them succeed and become part of a vigorous learning environment.
A master’s degree in business or IT, or related field, Ph.D. or other terminal degree is preferred. Bachelor's degree with appropriate certifications and work experience will be considered.
For IT 121, familiarity with the Adobe suite of applications and basic knowledge of consumer/producer audio and video tools on a MAC OS.
College-level teaching experience preferred.Supplemental Information
