Located 45 minutes from the Nation’s Capital, nestled in a history-rich community of southern Maryland, The College of Southern Maryland (CSM) is a two-time Aspen Award-winning institution (top 15% of Community Colleges) with academic programs in over 100 disciplines. The individual in this position provides academic advisement and registration for students, which requires ascertaining student’s goals and assisting in the planning for student attainment of those goals. They serve as a liaison to academic departments, college committees, and community organizations as directed. An advisor must be knowledgeable in the breadth of college offerings for both credit and continuing education program course work. The individual provides information to prospective students regarding the College of Southern Maryland.
The work schedule for this position is 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday. Flexibility is required.
