Position Overview & Responsibilities

The Department of Biology seeks a Visiting Assistant Professor, non-tenure track (full time for nine months), to teach and coordinate the laboratory portions of the introductory courses of our core curriculum. The successful candidate will work with other faculty members and the lab manager to design, prepare materials (including, but not limited to, biological specimen cultivation), teach, assist other lab instructors, and work with undergraduate lab teaching assistants. The candidate will join a dynamic and collegial department that values and supports high-quality, innovative laboratory experiences for our students. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. or Master’s degree or equivalent degree with comparable experience.
