The Psychology Department consists of 29 faculty members, the staff of the advising center, the staff of the Psychoeducational Clinic, and the 4 members of our office staff, as well as over 1000 undergraduate majors and 135 graduate students pursuing their doctoral degrees.Essential Job Duties:
The faculty are outstanding scholars, many of whom have won awards for teaching and research and/or are fellows in the major professional societies in Psychology.
Faculty have received research grants and training grants from the National Science Foundation, the National Institutes for Health, the National Institute on Aging, the Army Research Laboratory, the Army Research Institute, the Department of Education, and numerous companies.
The Lecturer in Psychology will teach 1-3 courses for the Department of Psychology. The faculty member is expected to work successfully with students, other faculty, and industry partners.Other Responsibilities:
Non-tenure track faculty positions are typically one semester with the possibility of renewal.
Perform other duties as assigned by the department head.Minimum Education and Experience:
Requires master’s degree, an equivalent degree, or equivalent professional experience.Other Required Qualifications:
Experience teaching at the college level.Preferred Qualifications:
A PhD in a relevant field and teaching experience at the college level.Required License(s) or Certification(s):
