Description
The San Diego State School of Public Affairs is recruiting for faculty lecturer positions. We are a vibrant and diverse school offering undergraduate degrees in public administration and in criminal justice. We also offer master degrees in public administration, city planning, and in criminal justice and criminology.
We are looking for part time lecturers to teach in all five degree programs. We also offer a master of public administration fully online, as well as a fully online undergraduate degree completion program in criminal justice (junior and senior year).
We welcome applications from prospective lecturers with experience teaching in these broad disciplines of criminal justice, city planning and public administration. Applications will remain in our applicant pool for three years.

The person holding this position is considered a “mandated reporter” under the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act and is required to comply with the requirements set forth in CSU Executive Order 1083 as a condition of employment. This position is contingent upon state funding.
Compensation
The salary schedule information for the Lecturer - 12 month Classification is available based on the following ranges:
Lecturer A (Range 2 ) - $5,168 - 6,946
Lecturer B (Range 3) - $6,190 - 13,797
Lecturer C (Range 4) - $7,102 - 15,145
Lecturer D (Range 5) - $8,964 - 15,864
The anticipated hiring range is generally at or near the minimum of the appropriate range, commensurate with education and experience.
