Position Summary

We are looking for adjunct faculty to teach:  

• GEOG 2410 Economic Geography 
  

• GEOG 2430 World Cities 
  

Adjunct faculty are required to teach twice a week, hold office hours, assign papers and exams as appropriate and be available to assist students with assignments. The University operates on a quarter system. The Fall 2022 quarter is from September 12, 2022 through November 21, 2022. Adjunct faculty positions are non-benefited positions.

Required Qualifications

• Masters degree in geography, urban/regional planning, economics, or related field 
  
• Previous teaching experience 
  
• Ability to teach at the university level. 
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Ph.D. or terminal degree in geography, urban/regional planning, economics, or related field 
  
• College-level teaching experience.

Course Rate

Adjunct faculty are compensated at a rate of $4,202 -$5,253 per course.

The University of Denver has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The University may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information, but not based on a candidates sex or any other protected status.
