The Dhillon School of Business (DSB) invites applications for a 3-year Term Appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor. A Term Appointment as an Instructor may be available in lieu of an appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor.  The position can be either at the Calgary or Lethbridge campus, depending on the candidate’s preference.

Applicants with a Ph.D. degree in business analytics or related field, recent research publications in business analytics or closely related field and experience teaching relevant courses at the post-secondary level will be considered for the appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor.   

Applicants with a Master’s degree and significant work experience in analytics, or a Ph.D. in business analytics or a related field but no recent publications in business analytics and/or no previous experience teaching relevant courses at the post-secondary level may be considered for appointment as an Instructor. 

The successful candidate will be expected to teach primarily in the areas of business analytics, data science, and statistics using online and face-to-face approaches.  The successful candidate will also be expected to help coordinate our MSc (Mgt) business analytics concentration and aid faculty in developing their analytics courses.
