Job Responsibilities

Seeking part-time Dialysis Instructors, these positions are responsible for providing systematically planned and delivered instruction, conducting weekly student assessments, and ensuring a safe learning environment while monitoring students in classroom and lab sessions.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

These positions require an associate or bachelor's degree in nursing or related field, current SC licensure as an RN and a minimum of five (5) years of work experience as a Dialysis Nurse or in the dialysis field. Experience in triaging, teaching vital signs, phlebotomy, waived testing, immunizations, pharmacology math, and medication delivery methods is also required.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior teaching experience is preferred. Excellent customer service, interpersonal and data entry skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office are essential. Extensive knowledge in medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, treatment for end-stage renal disease (ESRD), law and ethics, front office management and office financial responsibilities is essential.
